SPUTNIK NEWS – August 30, 2018: The article highlights that US President Donald Trump has slammed Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russiagate as “illegal investigation,” adding that “great scholars” have said that “there should never have been a special counsel,” Bloomberg reported on Thursday (August 30).
Trump has repeatedly criticised US Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation into alleged Russian imeddling in the 2016 US presidential election campaign. After the recusal, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to lead the probe, which Trump has slammed as “witch hunt.”
Trump threatened Thursday (August 30) to “get involved” unless FBI and US Justice Department “start doing their job,” US President said at a rally in Indiana.
“Our Justice Department and our FBI — at the top of each, because inside they have incredible people — but our Justice Department and our FBI have to start doing their job and doing it right and doing it now… I wanted to stay out, but at some point if it doesn’t straighten out properly… I will get involved and I’ll get in there if I have to,” Donald Trump was quoted as saying by Reuters.
Trump has repeatedly criticized the DoJ over its handling of Russiagate and suggested its leadership was biased against GOP, saying that “people are angry.”
AXIOS – August 31, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump raged on Twitter Thursday (August 30) morning against the “totally dishonest” media, lashing out at the heads of NBC and CNN, before turning his ire to “fake books.”
The viewpoint of the situation is the never ending media onslaught against Trump for which he has to continuously defend himself.
His tweet-storm comes after continued attacks on Google and other Big Tech giants for allegedly silencing conservative voices. For Trump, it’s not just “Fake News” anymore — he’s waging a war on fake everything.
And the list of “fakes” according to President Trump are:
The Fake News reporting media outlets
CNN: “The hatred and extreme bias of me…has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function.” And that CNN’s President Jeff Zucker, the “Little Jeff Z has done a terrible job, his ratings suck, AT&T should fire him to save credibility!”
Regarding NBC: “What’s going on at @CNN is happening…at other networks – with @NBCNews being the worst.” And that NBC News Chairman Andy Lack: “Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired (?) for incompetence, and much worse.” President Trump also accused NBC News’ Lester Holt of “fudging my tape” of the May 2017 interview where Trump pinned his firing of FBI Director James Comey on “this Russia thing.”
And the blitz of Fake books
Not surprising, Omarosa and Michael Wolff, who both needled Trump with books loaded with juicy criticism, punching at the President, causing Trump to go after the media in January (2018) after Wolff’s book was released, saying the continued coverage “[promoted] the Fake Book of a deranged author.”
“I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. This includes fake books, which come out about me all the time, always anonymous sources, and are pure fiction. Enemy of the People!”
Fake Google searches
And all this does not appear to be natural occurring, but well planned to achieve some type of crescendo against the President. He went after Google by name on Tuesday (August 28), saying the site has been “RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD.”
Fake social media
President Trump continues to alert his supporters that social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are not to be trusted; repeated by Axios’ Mike Allen. Trump also reiterated claiming yesterday (August 29) that Big Tech is “trying to silence a very large part of the country.”
RT – August 2, 2018: American journalist Jim Acosta confronts Press Secretary Sarah Sanders at news briefing in the White House.
(BattleForWorld: The notorious CNN news reporter Jim Acosta decides to agitate White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about Trump calling the press, the enemy. The press appears to be spearheading the movement to stir-up discord which will over time materialize into physical conflict at some future time. This nonstop press-confrontation towards the president is setting a bad precedent that is very dangerous for America.)
THE HILL – August 20, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump could face a primary challenger in 2020. And that a contested fight for the Republican nomination might be exactly what he wants.
The big question isn’t whether Trump would win a primary, but whether being tested would weaken him for the general election. And that intraparty challenges to incumbent presidents have traditionally wounded commanders in chief. And sighted the election in 1976, former President Ford prevailed over Ronald Reagan before losing to Jimmy Carter.
All of that suggests Trump would benefit from not having a 2020 Republican challenger.
Yet Trump has repeatedly defied being conventional in his political career, and there are reasons to think a GOP challenge could actually help him.
And Trump’s support base has shown that it is invigorated by challenges to the president, whether they come from Democrats or Republicans seen as part of the GOP establishment.
Also Trump has generally emerged from intra-GOP conflicts with strength and it’s still early. Much will happen between now and the 2020 primary season, most notably the midterm elections
“Trump will insert himself in the Democrats’ narrative and suck the oxygen from them,” O’Connell stated.
FOX NEWS – August 21, 2018: Tucker: Who’s dumber? MSNBC’s the Rev. Al Sharpton or the New York Times’ Michelle Goldberg? Trump terrifies the ruling class, whose main talents are glibness and obedience. That’s enough to succeed in the globalized economy.
BUZZFEED NEWS – July 30, 2018: The article highlights that when President Donald Trump broke an off-the-record agreement after he met with New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger, some wondered why Dean Baquet, the executive editor in charge of the journalism Trump has openly criticized, also did not attend the Oval Office conversation.
Nine days after the July 20 meeting with Sulzberger — which White House aides had requested be conducted off the record — Trump tweeted that he and the Times publisher had discussed “the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media & how that Fake News has morphed into the phrase ‘Enemy of the People.'” In response, Sulzberger released a statement saying that he had cautioned the president about his “enemy of the people” line.
The reason, Baquet told BuzzFeed News, is a matter of personal, not newsroom, policy. “As the person overseeing coverage, I don’t think officials should be able to tell me things that I can’t publish. And I don’t want to be courted or wooed.”
Finally, Baquet added that many editors at the Times disagree with his stance. “They argue that it is worth getting the feel of the president or the governor,” he said. “But in my view, the leader of the newsgathering operation shouldn’t have access that reporters don’t get.”
Anti-Trump protest in Brussels expected THOUSANDS, got DOZENS
NTK NETWORK – July 11, 2018: The article highlights that the “Make Peace Great Again” organizers were expecting a few thousand people to protest President Trump’s visit, but only a couple dozen showed up, according to Euro News Damon Embling.
“Make Peace Great Again” organizers were expecting few thousand protestors to gather outside the NATO summit in Brussels on Wednesday (July 11) evening to protest President Trump’s attendance, but only a couple dozen demonstrators showed up.
THE SUN – July 12, 2018: President Donald Trump today gave Prime Minister Theresa May a proper rinsing, accusing the PM of wrecking Brexit — and warns that she may have killed off [into the unrecoverable devil’s pit] any chance of a vital US trade deal.
The US President fired up his photon radar and locked on, delivering his nuclear-missile verdict on her negotiating strategy in a world exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper. Wow, explosive.
In an extraordinary intervention timed to coincide with his UK visit, Mr. Trump said Theresa May ignored his advice by opting for a soft Brexit strategy, according to The Sun.
And he went further in what appears to be a prophetic utterance, warning her that any attempts to maintain close ties with the EU would make a lucrative US trade deal very highly unlikely.
And Mr. Trump said, to which the major news media repeated: “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal.” And said that Theresa May’s new soft Brexit blueprint would ‘kill’ any future trade deal with the United States.
His explosive comments could become deeply damaging to the PM, as he delivers his most brutally honest verdict yet on Britain. (BattleForWorld: Don’t mess with the Trump.)
YAHOO – July 14, 2018: President Donald Trump found time to attack CNN, NBC and the British tabloid The Sun, and offer fashion advice to a fourth news organization, while talking to reporters Friday (July 13) with British Prime Minister Theresa May.
The leaders faced sharp questions at a news conference following their talks, which came between a reportedly contentious meeting of NATO representatives and Trump’s upcoming summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Frequent Trump foiler Jim Acosta of CNN tried to ask a question at one point and was rebuffed by the president.
“CNN is fake news,” said President Trump. “I don’t take questions from CNN.
Let’s go to a real network,” Trump said, pointing to John Roberts of Fox News Channel. Roberts asked if there was any way that relations with Russia would improve as long as the country occupied Crimea.
And a day earlier, Trump took a question from CNN’s Jeremy Diamond following the meeting with NATO. And as Friday’s session with May was breaking up, Acosta shouted, “Mr. President, will you ask Putin to stay out of U.S. elections?”
President Trump answered yes.
‘More American’: Trump Wants Air Force One Painted Red, White & Blue
SPUTNIK NEWS – July 12, 2018: US President Donald Trump wants to paint future Air Force One jets in the US flag colors of red, white and blue instead of the current design, which features a white and robin’s-egg blue color scheme, according to a Thursday report by Axios. (BattleForWorld: As always, Trump On.)
The desire to update the Boeing 747s’ external look is aimed at giving the plane a “more American” appearance, the report says. There is said to be some disagreement about the plane’s aesthetics: some US Air Force officials reportedly prefer the current color scheme, which has been around for 55 years.
Trump takes shots at NATO
CHICAGO TRIBUNE – July 11, 2018: President Donald Trump signaled he was ready for a transatlantic brawl Tuesday (July 10) as he embarked on a consequential week of international diplomacy, taking aim at vulnerable British Prime Minister Theresa May and suggesting that meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin might be easier than talking with Western allies at the NATO summit here.
European leaders converged on Brussels fearful of what the combative U.S. president might say or do to rupture the liberal world order, with some European diplomats privately predicting calamity.
As he departed Washington on Tuesday (July 10), Trump stoked the deep divisions in May’s government to undermine the leader of America’s closest historic ally on the eve of the NATO meeting. Asked if May should remain in power, Trump said, “That’s up to the people,” while also complimenting her top rival, Boris Johnson.
Some of Europe’s counters to Trump, including May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, arrive with heavy domestic political baggage of their own, making them vulnerable in negotiations with Trump as they seek to protect the Western alliance from his impulses on defense spending and trade.
NEW REPUBLIC – September 13, 2018: The article highlights that this is not a Democrat running against the president; this is a Democrat racing to embrace him.
Joe Manchin’s kind is virtually extinct. More than any other U.S. senator, he has successfully carved out a spot in Capitol Hill’s political center, occupying a no man’s land between a Democratic Party tilting left and a Republican Party becoming more Trump-like by the day.
Although Manchin endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016, he has been a rare Democratic ally of Trump since his election victory, voting for all but a few of the president’s cabinet nominations and loudly applauding his rollback of environmental protections.

WASHINGTON EXAMINER – September 13, 2018: The article highlights that recession driven grimness hanging over the workplace has lifted and now workers of all shades are feeling good about their future.
A new survey provided to Secrets said that 72 percent of blue collar workers and 76 percent of white collar workers are optimistic about their future.
What’s more, half feel that it would be easy to find another job if they needed or wanted to.
