BATTLE FOR WORLD / RT – January 24, 2019: The article highlights that Democrats in Congress adamantly against any funding for the border wall, and US President Donald Trump may be inching towards declaring a national emergency in order to end the record-breaking 34-day government shutdown.
And according to a CNN exclusive, the White House has drafted an emergency declaration that would direct the Pentagon to build the border barrier and use $7 billion in various unallocated government funds to that purpose, reported on Thursday (January 24) and claims to have seen “internal documents” to that effect.
The draft proclamation reportedly says: “The massive amount of aliens who unlawfully enter the United States each day is a direct threat to the safety and security of our nation and constitutes a national emergency. …”

BATTLE FOR WORLD / SPUTNIK NEWS – January 23, 2019: The article highlights that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declined on Wednesday (January 23) US President Donald Trump’s invitation to issue his State of the Union address in the House Chambers, which was initially scheduled to take place on January 29.
Pelosi’s response came just a few short hours after the White House issued a letter on Wednesday, saying that Trump was still planning to proceed with SOTU (State of the Union) address at the Capitol despite her request last week to postpone the speech until after the government reopens.
Iron lady House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a letter to President Trump said: “I am writing to inform you that the House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the President’s State of the Union address in the House Chambers until the government has opened,” Pelosi wrote, noting that she is open to setting a “mutually agreeable date” once the government has reopened.
(BattleForWorld: Maybe President Trump can give the speech from the White House oval office? Is the president exhausting that side of the options involving Pelosi?)
A copy of the letter from Pelosi to president Trump.
BATTLE FOR WORLD / SPUTNIK NEWS – January 23, 2019: The article highlights that the White House says President Trump will proceed with his State of the Union address at the Capitol next week (the last week of January) despite Nancy Pelosi’s request for the president to postpone the speech until after the government reopens.
Overriding madame Pelosi, White House officials sent a letter to the House Sergeant-at-Arms asking to schedule a dry run for the annual speech, the White House confirmed on Tuesday (January 22), reported by Fox News. An earlier scheduled walk-through of the annual speech was postponed amid the disagreement over the date between Trump and Pelosi.
In a Tweet to the antagonizing Democrat boss lady, the commander-in-chief President Trump stated, emphasizing “many options”:
Nancy, I am still thinking about the State of the Union speech, there are so many options – including doing it as per your written offer (made during the Shutdown, security is no problem), and my written acceptance. While a contract is a contract, I’ll get back to you soon!

BATTLE FOR WORLD / SPUTNIK NEWS – January 18, 2018: The article highlights that as President Trump remains locked in conflict with Democrats in Congress over the request for $5.7 billion to fund the border wall, the dispute led to an impasse and the ongoing partial government shutdown, the longest in US history.
The Trump administration up the ante today January 18, barring US lawmakers from traveling on any government-owned and operated aircraft without explicit written approval from the White House chief of staff.
ABC News tweeted a copy of the memo, which was released by Office of Management and Budget acting director Russell T. Vought.
Trump also took to Twitter earlier, attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats for trying to take “a seven day excursion” abroad while 800,000 federal employees go unpaid due to the partial government shutdown.
Why would Nancy Pelosi leave the Country with other Democrats on a seven day excursion when 800,000 great people are not getting paid. Also, could somebody please explain to Nancy & her “big donors” in wine country that people working on farms (grapes) will have easy access in!

BATTLE FOR WORLD / WND – January 11, 2019: Highlights from Pat Buchanan: In the long run, history will validate Donald Trump’s stand on a border wall to defend the sovereignty and security of the United States.
Why? Because mass migration from the global South, not climate change, is the real existential crisis of the West.
(BattleForWorld: And if the globalists really do plan to have the United States go ahead with the military invasion of Venezuela, the border has to remain open to allow the inflow of new migration, just as how Europe has done to allow the migration of people from the Middle East, Africa, etc. And President Trump building the wall deters the migration plan of the globalists.)
The American people know this, and even the elites sense it.
Think not? Well, check out the leading liberal newspapers Thursday (January 10).
The Washington Post and the New York Times each had two front-page stories about the president’s battle with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer on funding the border wall. … And now, the whole Western world is worried about its borders as issues of immigration and identity convulse almost every country.
BATTLE FOR WORLD / THE HILL – January 9, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump on Wednesday (January 9) said he may declare a national emergency to circumvent Congress and build a border wall if spending talks fail, raising the stakes for negotiations set to resume later in the day.
“I think we might work a deal, and if we don’t we might go that route,” Trump told reporters during a bill signing in the Oval Office.
The president said he has the “absolute right” to declare an emergency, even though some legal scholars and Democratic lawmakers say he does not.
(BattleForWorld: If Trump is unable to reach a deal with the Democrats, he has to declare national emergency. Nancy and Schumer are being unreasonable. Also, Trump has been talking since 2017 about giving the government a proper shutdown.)
BATTLE FOR WORLD / RT – January 10, 2019: The article highlights that President Donald Trump walked out of the negotiations with congressional Democrats, declaring it a “total waste of time” after they repeated their refusal to fund any sort of wall on the border with Mexico.
“Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time,” Trump tweeted, referring to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California). “I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!”
Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!

BATTLEFORWORLD – May 2, 2017: Just before the federal extension budget expires in October, President Trump has threatened to give the government a thorough shutdown. (BATTLEFORWORLD: And it did finally happened, for a few days, on January 19, 2018. More pending?)
BATTLE FOR WORLD / RT – January 7, 2019: The article highlights that US President Donald Trump says he will address the nation and later go to the border with Mexico – a day after hinting he could declare a national emergency as government shutdown over funding of his border wall enters week three.
Trump tweeted on Monday (January 7) that he intends to address the nation on Tuesday evening about the “humanitarian and national security crisis” on the southern border.
The “crisis” has sparked speculation that the White House might be moving towards declaring a national emergency. If so, this move would allow Trump to bypass Congress and use Pentagon funds to build a barrier along the border with Mexico.
I am pleased to inform you that I will Address the Nation on the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border. Tuesday night at 9:00 P.M. Eastern.

BATTLE FOR WORLD / FOX NEWS – January 3, 2019: The article highlights that as President Trump ushered in 2019 in characteristic fashion — with a tweet expressing supreme confidence in himself, contempt for the “fake news media” and optimism for the country.
The commander-in-chief tweets: “Happy new year to everyone, including the haters and the fake news media!”. “2019 will be a fantastic year for those not suffering from Trump derangement syndrome.”
Trump added, “Just calm down and enjoy the ride, great things are happening for our country!”
The article noted the president’s first tweets of the year indicate he will not slow down his social media activity in the new year.
Trump enters 2019 facing a number of challenges: a partial government shutdown, a volatile stock market, Democrats taking control of the House, a forthcoming report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, White House staff turnover and the kick-off to his 2020 re-election campaign.
BATTLE FOR WORLD / SPUTNIK NEWS – December 18, 2018: The article highlights that US President Donald Trump has dubbed in a Twitter post alleged Russia’s meddling ‘a hoax’ that ruined reputations of many people, adding the entire ‘Russian Witch Hunt’ had to be stopped immediately.
Trump’s statement comes amid Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the US presidential campaign along with another probe carried out by the US Congress.
Michael Isikoff was the first to report Dossier allegations and now seriously doubts the Dossier claims. The whole Russian Collusion thing was a HOAX, but who is going to restore the good name of so many people whose reputations have been destroyed?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 18, 2018
….WILL NEVER BE PROVEN AND ARE LIKELY FALSE.” Thank you to Michael Isikoff, Yahoo, for honesty. What this means is that the FISA WARRANTS and the whole Russian Witch Hunt is a Fraud and a Hoax which should be ended immediately. Also, it was paid for by Crooked Hillary & DNC!

BATTLE FOR WORLD / RT – December 17, 2018: The article highlights that President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday (December 17) to praise the American economy while simultaneously slamming France, China, and the Federal Reserve – but users of the social media platform responded that he has little to be victorious about.
“It is incredible that with a very strong dollar and virtually no inflation, the outside world blowing up around us, Paris is burning and China way down, the Fed is even considering yet another interest rate hike. Take the Victory!” Trump tweeted on Monday.
BATTLE FOR WORLD / SPUTNIK NEWS – December 13, 2018: The article highlights the US president has recently been trying to convince the Congress to allocate funding for building a wall on the border between the US and Mexico, but have had little success, failing to gather the necessary votes from Democrats.
President Donald Trump unhappy about the matter criticized the Democratic Party on Twitter over its reluctance to allocate money for building the border wall from the US budget. Trump used the $150 billion dollars that former President Barack Obama allegedly gave Iran as an argument to convince the Democrats to spare $5 billion for the construction of the wall.
The Democrats and President Obama gave Iran 150 Billion Dollars and got nothing, but they can’t give 5 Billion Dollars for National Security and a Wall?

BATTLE FOR WORLD / THE HILL – November 28, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump on Wednesday (November 28) morning shared an image calling for his opponents to face trial for “treason,” and put behind bars.
“Now that Russia collusion is a proven lie, when do the trials for treason begin?” the caption on the photo reads tweeted by Trump.
The collage image, which the president retweeted from a pro-Trump Twitter account, shows figures that Trump has criticized, including former President Obama, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, special counsel Robert Mueller, former FBI Director James Comey and former President Bill Clinton.

BATTLE FOR WORLD / THE GATEWAY PUNDIT – November 28, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump told the New York Post in an Oval Office interview Wednesday (November 28) that he will declassify documents that will be ‘devastating’ for the Deep State and Democrats if they harass him with more probes.
The President said he’s waiting for perfect timing to declassify the Carter Page FISA docs because if he already did, it would have been yesterday’s news.
SPUTNIK NEWS – August 30, 2018: The article highlights that US President Donald Trump has slammed Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russiagate as “illegal investigation,” adding that “great scholars” have said that “there should never have been a special counsel,” Bloomberg reported on Thursday (August 30).
Trump has repeatedly criticised US Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation into alleged Russian imeddling in the 2016 US presidential election campaign. After the recusal, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to lead the probe, which Trump has slammed as “witch hunt.”
Trump threatened Thursday (August 30) to “get involved” unless FBI and US Justice Department “start doing their job,” US President said at a rally in Indiana.
“Our Justice Department and our FBI — at the top of each, because inside they have incredible people — but our Justice Department and our FBI have to start doing their job and doing it right and doing it now… I wanted to stay out, but at some point if it doesn’t straighten out properly… I will get involved and I’ll get in there if I have to,” Donald Trump was quoted as saying by Reuters.
Trump has repeatedly criticized the DoJ over its handling of Russiagate and suggested its leadership was biased against GOP, saying that “people are angry.”
AXIOS – August 31, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump raged on Twitter Thursday (August 30) morning against the “totally dishonest” media, lashing out at the heads of NBC and CNN, before turning his ire to “fake books.”
The viewpoint of the situation is the never ending media onslaught against Trump for which he has to continuously defend himself.
His tweet-storm comes after continued attacks on Google and other Big Tech giants for allegedly silencing conservative voices. For Trump, it’s not just “Fake News” anymore — he’s waging a war on fake everything.
And the list of “fakes” according to President Trump are:
The Fake News reporting media outlets
CNN: “The hatred and extreme bias of me…has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function.” And that CNN’s President Jeff Zucker, the “Little Jeff Z has done a terrible job, his ratings suck, AT&T should fire him to save credibility!”
Regarding NBC: “What’s going on at @CNN is happening…at other networks – with @NBCNews being the worst.” And that NBC News Chairman Andy Lack: “Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired (?) for incompetence, and much worse.” President Trump also accused NBC News’ Lester Holt of “fudging my tape” of the May 2017 interview where Trump pinned his firing of FBI Director James Comey on “this Russia thing.”
And the blitz of Fake books
Not surprising, Omarosa and Michael Wolff, who both needled Trump with books loaded with juicy criticism, punching at the President, causing Trump to go after the media in January (2018) after Wolff’s book was released, saying the continued coverage “[promoted] the Fake Book of a deranged author.”
“I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. This includes fake books, which come out about me all the time, always anonymous sources, and are pure fiction. Enemy of the People!”
Fake Google searches
And all this does not appear to be natural occurring, but well planned to achieve some type of crescendo against the President. He went after Google by name on Tuesday (August 28), saying the site has been “RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD.”
Fake social media
President Trump continues to alert his supporters that social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are not to be trusted; repeated by Axios’ Mike Allen. Trump also reiterated claiming yesterday (August 29) that Big Tech is “trying to silence a very large part of the country.”
RT – August 2, 2018: American journalist Jim Acosta confronts Press Secretary Sarah Sanders at news briefing in the White House.
(BattleForWorld: The notorious CNN news reporter Jim Acosta decides to agitate White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about Trump calling the press, the enemy. The press appears to be spearheading the movement to stir-up discord which will over time materialize into physical conflict at some future time. This nonstop press-confrontation towards the president is setting a bad precedent that is very dangerous for America.)
THE HILL – August 20, 2018: The article highlights that President Trump could face a primary challenger in 2020. And that a contested fight for the Republican nomination might be exactly what he wants.
The big question isn’t whether Trump would win a primary, but whether being tested would weaken him for the general election. And that intraparty challenges to incumbent presidents have traditionally wounded commanders in chief. And sighted the election in 1976, former President Ford prevailed over Ronald Reagan before losing to Jimmy Carter.
All of that suggests Trump would benefit from not having a 2020 Republican challenger.
Yet Trump has repeatedly defied being conventional in his political career, and there are reasons to think a GOP challenge could actually help him.
And Trump’s support base has shown that it is invigorated by challenges to the president, whether they come from Democrats or Republicans seen as part of the GOP establishment.
Also Trump has generally emerged from intra-GOP conflicts with strength and it’s still early. Much will happen between now and the 2020 primary season, most notably the midterm elections
“Trump will insert himself in the Democrats’ narrative and suck the oxygen from them,” O’Connell stated.
FOX NEWS – August 21, 2018: Tucker: Who’s dumber? MSNBC’s the Rev. Al Sharpton or the New York Times’ Michelle Goldberg? Trump terrifies the ruling class, whose main talents are glibness and obedience. That’s enough to succeed in the globalized economy.
BUZZFEED NEWS – July 30, 2018: The article highlights that when President Donald Trump broke an off-the-record agreement after he met with New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger, some wondered why Dean Baquet, the executive editor in charge of the journalism Trump has openly criticized, also did not attend the Oval Office conversation.
Nine days after the July 20 meeting with Sulzberger — which White House aides had requested be conducted off the record — Trump tweeted that he and the Times publisher had discussed “the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media & how that Fake News has morphed into the phrase ‘Enemy of the People.'” In response, Sulzberger released a statement saying that he had cautioned the president about his “enemy of the people” line.
The reason, Baquet told BuzzFeed News, is a matter of personal, not newsroom, policy. “As the person overseeing coverage, I don’t think officials should be able to tell me things that I can’t publish. And I don’t want to be courted or wooed.”
Finally, Baquet added that many editors at the Times disagree with his stance. “They argue that it is worth getting the feel of the president or the governor,” he said. “But in my view, the leader of the newsgathering operation shouldn’t have access that reporters don’t get.”
Anti-Trump protest in Brussels expected THOUSANDS, got DOZENS
NTK NETWORK – July 11, 2018: The article highlights that the “Make Peace Great Again” organizers were expecting a few thousand people to protest President Trump’s visit, but only a couple dozen showed up, according to Euro News Damon Embling.
“Make Peace Great Again” organizers were expecting few thousand protestors to gather outside the NATO summit in Brussels on Wednesday (July 11) evening to protest President Trump’s attendance, but only a couple dozen demonstrators showed up.
THE SUN – July 12, 2018: President Donald Trump today gave Prime Minister Theresa May a proper rinsing, accusing the PM of wrecking Brexit — and warns that she may have killed off [into the unrecoverable devil’s pit] any chance of a vital US trade deal.
The US President fired up his photon radar and locked on, delivering his nuclear-missile verdict on her negotiating strategy in a world exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper. Wow, explosive.
In an extraordinary intervention timed to coincide with his UK visit, Mr. Trump said Theresa May ignored his advice by opting for a soft Brexit strategy, according to The Sun.
And he went further in what appears to be a prophetic utterance, warning her that any attempts to maintain close ties with the EU would make a lucrative US trade deal very highly unlikely.
And Mr. Trump said, to which the major news media repeated: “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal.” And said that Theresa May’s new soft Brexit blueprint would ‘kill’ any future trade deal with the United States.
His explosive comments could become deeply damaging to the PM, as he delivers his most brutally honest verdict yet on Britain. (BattleForWorld: Don’t mess with the Trump.)
YAHOO – July 14, 2018: President Donald Trump found time to attack CNN, NBC and the British tabloid The Sun, and offer fashion advice to a fourth news organization, while talking to reporters Friday (July 13) with British Prime Minister Theresa May.
The leaders faced sharp questions at a news conference following their talks, which came between a reportedly contentious meeting of NATO representatives and Trump’s upcoming summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Frequent Trump foiler Jim Acosta of CNN tried to ask a question at one point and was rebuffed by the president.
“CNN is fake news,” said President Trump. “I don’t take questions from CNN.
Let’s go to a real network,” Trump said, pointing to John Roberts of Fox News Channel. Roberts asked if there was any way that relations with Russia would improve as long as the country occupied Crimea.
And a day earlier, Trump took a question from CNN’s Jeremy Diamond following the meeting with NATO. And as Friday’s session with May was breaking up, Acosta shouted, “Mr. President, will you ask Putin to stay out of U.S. elections?”
President Trump answered yes.
‘More American’: Trump Wants Air Force One Painted Red, White & Blue
SPUTNIK NEWS – July 12, 2018: US President Donald Trump wants to paint future Air Force One jets in the US flag colors of red, white and blue instead of the current design, which features a white and robin’s-egg blue color scheme, according to a Thursday report by Axios. (BattleForWorld: As always, Trump On.)
The desire to update the Boeing 747s’ external look is aimed at giving the plane a “more American” appearance, the report says. There is said to be some disagreement about the plane’s aesthetics: some US Air Force officials reportedly prefer the current color scheme, which has been around for 55 years.
Trump takes shots at NATO
CHICAGO TRIBUNE – July 11, 2018: President Donald Trump signaled he was ready for a transatlantic brawl Tuesday (July 10) as he embarked on a consequential week of international diplomacy, taking aim at vulnerable British Prime Minister Theresa May and suggesting that meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin might be easier than talking with Western allies at the NATO summit here.
European leaders converged on Brussels fearful of what the combative U.S. president might say or do to rupture the liberal world order, with some European diplomats privately predicting calamity.
As he departed Washington on Tuesday (July 10), Trump stoked the deep divisions in May’s government to undermine the leader of America’s closest historic ally on the eve of the NATO meeting. Asked if May should remain in power, Trump said, “That’s up to the people,” while also complimenting her top rival, Boris Johnson.
Some of Europe’s counters to Trump, including May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, arrive with heavy domestic political baggage of their own, making them vulnerable in negotiations with Trump as they seek to protect the Western alliance from his impulses on defense spending and trade.
NEW REPUBLIC – September 13, 2018: The article highlights that this is not a Democrat running against the president; this is a Democrat racing to embrace him.
Joe Manchin’s kind is virtually extinct. More than any other U.S. senator, he has successfully carved out a spot in Capitol Hill’s political center, occupying a no man’s land between a Democratic Party tilting left and a Republican Party becoming more Trump-like by the day.
Although Manchin endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016, he has been a rare Democratic ally of Trump since his election victory, voting for all but a few of the president’s cabinet nominations and loudly applauding his rollback of environmental protections.
One attendee, John Shannon, who wore a Trump 2020 hat…
WASHINGTON EXAMINER – September 13, 2018: The article highlights that recession driven grimness hanging over the workplace has lifted and now workers of all shades are feeling good about their future.
A new survey provided to Secrets said that 72 percent of blue collar workers and 76 percent of white collar workers are optimistic about their future.
What’s more, half feel that it would be easy to find another job if they needed or wanted to.
